He's got a point. But isn't it dreadful that the heresy of "hate the sin, love the sinner" has become so dominant that people try to make it go away by joking about it?
Do you think he's as nice in real life?I'd kind of like it if he were a hard drinking, chain smoking, serial shagger. (I like that in a priest.)
