Work update

Well winter is here with the first snow. I am loving my new job as a Maritime Instructor. My first class is going well. It is a small class of 6 which is a nice way for me to slowly get into it. We are in week 3 of a 9 week program and all is going well. Above is a picture one student photoshopped.

I have decided to use it at the intro of every class.

I'm still providing supply services to the local Lutheran (ELCA) church once or twice a month which is also very nice and not stressful at all. As a plus it keeps me active in the Pension Program which works out nicely for me until things in my life finally settle out and I can decide if and where I can exercise my priestly ministry in the future.

I am always quite flattered by student photoshop efforts. I get a little of the photoshop treatment myself with my medical students, and it is fun!

P.S. If they are razzing you already about being a hardass, then it means they know you are being a hardass for their own good!

I looked at it 3 times before I read the post. I kept thinking "Nah, it couldn't say that!" and looked again and again. It is very funny even to this old woman. It just took me a while. :o)

Glad you liked it Susan. My mother, bless her heart reads my blog but never posts here. She actually though it was the real thing at first. Her firstborn was finally a success! :)
