My thoughts and musings which are occasionally orthodox but much more likely to be considered heretical.

New poll
OK, it has been a while since I posted a poll lately, so I have put up a new one. Tell us about yourself. And if you want to go into more detail, feel free to post a comment here.
I said, "Liberal, orthodox, Anglo-catholic, heretic." hee hee.
I, like a lot of Midwesterners, have a few libertarian overtones...I'm a variant of the socially liberal fiscally conservative set.
I'm orthodox in that I respect the ancient traditions of the church and believe the Eucharist is a participant sport, not a spectator one.
I'm Anglo-catholic in that I believe we are bound to each other by common prayer and by our Baptismal Covenant.
And, I'm a heretic b/c there are a lot of things people tend to want to credit to God or Jesus that I think are just plain BS! No evangelical "Jesus the celestial Coke Machine" for me! I like having, as our vicar likes to call it, "a theology for adults...raw, red, painful, and joyful beyond compare...all at once."

Alright Kirk. It is good to own up to being a heretic. I find it very freeing!
