Do You Love Me?

When Jesus asked that question of Peter it had to hurt. Yes it is true simple questions like this can hurt. And Peter knew only too well that he had failed Jesus and in fact it was not the first time. But Peter has also followed Jesus, imperfectly yes, but still he had followed him for three years. He had made the commitment to Jesus and yet Jesus asked Peter this same question three painful times.
